I charge $20.00/hr. Regardless of what you want done. If I can do it, I'll charge you the same price. You'll never be billed for anything you didn't expect. At least not with me. I can charge this because the software I use to build websites is usually open source and comes at no additional cost to me; so I am able to pass that savings off to you; allowing you to have a fully functional and interactive website for a very competitive price.

By software; I am referring to any web application that would complement your static web pages that we create together. An example of software I use in my current websites can be found at tinyportal.net / simplemachines.org. Other features are also available; such as live streaming video and audio players. However, because of the proprietary nature of some software's involved, there may be a small fee that I must charge in order to comply with any license that would need to be purchased. An example of one software suite I use is the JW player by LongTail, Wimpy, etc. If you would rather use templates, I can recommend a few designers that I have worked with and can also provide some helpful tips to aide you in your search for the right one. After you find one you want, we can purchase it, edit it and publish it to your server for a quick website.

Another great feature that you get with forum based PHP software is the ability to manage your website, after the initial creation, with little or no knowledge of PHP, HTML or Java languages. This is extremely helpful for novice web designers that need to make constant updates to their web presence or who just want to learn and expand their website during their own time and at no additional cost that would normally be billed to you by a designer. If you can understand basic commands and do a lot of copy/paste; you can manage your entire website if you wanted, through software such as simplemachines.org.

I can build basic Adobe Flash content for your website. Because of the time it takes to build most animations; there is an additional charge per hour. If you are interested in Flash Content for your website, let me know and I can provide you with a separate quote.
